What a Day!

Wow! What a busy day we had today! You won't believe everything we did!

First, we participated in the MS Walk with Aunt Jamie's family! We even took Zoe!! She had a great time, but got SO TIRED in the middle of the walk! It was really hot today- above 90 degrees! Here are some pictures from the walk...

After that, we ran some errands, and finally ended up back home. I took a very SMALL nap and then look what fun I had!!! Aunt Becky gave me Sadie's tent and pool from last year! I put on a bathing suit and went in! At first, I thought it looked kind of weird, but I ended up having SO MUCH FUN!!

After swimming, I took a longer nap. When I woke up, I found my very own swing hanging up outside! I swung until I was ready for bed! Mommy and Daddy took turns pushing me! Even Zoe came out to watch me. It was a really fun day!

New Toy!

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy took me to a fun sale. I got several new toys.. BUT! This morning when I came downstairs, LOOK AT WHAT THEY BOUGHT THAT I DIDN'T SEE LAST NIGHT!!

It rolls, it makes sounds, it tastes good, and it lights up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here I am, just checking it out...at first, I didn't realize that I could ROLL places!

Once I discovered that I could roll, I rolled right under the kitchen table and ate part of the newspaper! (Until Mommy found me, that is.)

Woohoo! I've got some mad skillz in this thing! I'm ready to tear it up!

Ah yes, and here I am. This is about 30 seconds before I hung a wicked 180.. and ran over the dog. :)

Talking Girl!

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to really excite Mommy and Daddy. I said "dada!" They finally got me on video saying it a few days ago. :) Last night, PopPop stopped in during a business trip to meet my cousin Ava. We were just hanging out, and I decided to say "poppop." These people get so excited about the smallest thing!

p.s. Mommy was feeding me some bananas today.. and discovered a tooth!!! One tooth just broke through the surface! Mommy laughed and told me that I was the happiest teething baby she's ever seen.

Here I am saying "dada."

And here I am saying "PopPop." You have to listen VERY CLOSELY, b/c I saying it very quietly!!

My New Book

The other day, Mommy gave me a new book- it's full of pictures of some of my favorite people! And the best part is... Mommy told me that she doesn't mind if I snack on it! :)

Yummy!

I love my new teething biscuits! Just watch!

For Ava's Visitors!

Yesterday after visiting Aunt Caitlin, Uncle JP, and baby Ava, Mommy and I ran around town to gather supplies to make a fun basket! I helped Mommy (okay, helped=screamed) as she made some wrappers, wrapped the chocolate, and put them in a fun basket!

Thanks to Aunt Marnie and Aunt Janelle for dropping this off when they went to meet baby Ava!

p.s. Hi Ava!

My Cousin Ava

Yay! Lily here! I was nice enough to let Mommy use my website to document cousin Ava's arrival...but now I'm taking back over! Today my cousin Ava was born, and guess what? I got to meet her!!!! She looks so fun! I really liked trying to pet her! I love you Aunt Caitlin and Uncle JP- thanks for giving me a great friend!

Ava is very soft!

Look how cute we are!

Uncle JP... can I see her please?

Mommy, can I? Please?

YAY! C'mere Ava!

Mommy & Ava

My family and Ava

Daddy & Ava

Welcome to the World, Ava Paulina!

Ava Paulina Domanico was born at 12:48 p.m. She is 8 lbs and 1 oz and 20 inches long! She has dark, curly hair and a great set of lungs! I love her already!! Congrats Caitlin and JP! Caitlin is in recovery and doing well. Ava is in the nursery under the heat lamps and getting her testing done. Hopefully they'll get to be together soon!

Love you guys!! Here's the lady of the hour!

And just as I typed this, Mommy met Ava. xoxoxo

Well, Ava is coming in T-minus 1 hour... via C-Section

You all will not believe this. Baby Ava will NOT come out past Caitlin's pelvic bone. Caitlin did the most incredible job EVER. Final decision by doctor, JP, and Caitlin: c-section within the hour. Baby Ava is almost here. Her heartrate has stayed up and beautiful. Keep thinking good thoughts and wishes their way! I'll update as soon as I can. xoxoxo

Oh my word... Ava is still not here.

Okay, here's the deal... baby Ava is coming. She is close. She is SO STINKIN' CLOSE. Her head is RIGHT THERE. Caitlin has been pushing and pushing. They called for the doctor who said she was getting so close to having the baby. At one point we even saw little Ava's head!

THEN the doctor had to LEAVE for an emergency c-section on someone else. He should be back anytime and then it's GAME ON.

I'll post as soon as I can... probably once they kick us out of the delivery room for some JP, Caitlin, Ava cuddle time!!!

GO CAITLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting there!

9:21 AM

Taking a break from pushing! Ava's head needs to come down a little bit! Caitlin's still doing great, but in pain and feeling nauseous. It's getting lower!

Push time!

8:17 AM

Caitlin has been pushing for 45 minutes... she's doing GREAT!!! Could still be a little while.. C'mon Ava!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're Getting There!

6:40 AM

Just a warning, I might have to leave you hanging soon for a bit! Caitlin is 10 CM and Ava's head is low, but not quite low enough. She is starting to feel pain again so they are calling anesthesia for another small dose of the epidural.

She just did a practice push and the nurse said she felt Ava's head move a bit.

Hopefully she'll be pushing within the next hour or so... it should be soon!

Send some good labor dust her way!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!

5:38 AM

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have no idea how--- but she's at 10 cm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pushing soonISH!!!!!!!!!! (within the hour!)

Still here... no baby...

4:37 AM

Well.... we're still going nowhere fast. LOL Caitlin hasn't been check since her epidural was put in around 2 AM..but at that point her doctor said that her cervix was still closed.

There are some contractions showing on the monitor, but nothing fast or furious. Still keeping fingers crossed that things will start to progress without intervention, but hopes are starting to dwindle.

JP is snoozing.. the rest of us are chatting with Caitlin.

p.s. we're all really tired. ;)

Epidural Happiness

2:49 AM

Check out the monitor...contractions are definitely picking up (black line at the bottom)! Caitlin's still feeling very comfortable. JP was watching poker for a little bit on TV but now he's resting in a chair.
