My Trip to Texas!

Last Thursday we went on yet another big trip! This time I got to fly on my very first airplane. We had a rough time leaving Philadelphia... we were supposed to leave at 11:35 a.m. and land at 2:15 p.m. in Texas... however the airline tried to let our plane takeoff TWICE with mechanical errors. They finally canceled our flight and we had to rebook on a (much) later one. I held up pretty well, but boy, Mommy was sure cranky!

Since we had almost NINE HOURS between when we should have left and when we did leave, I took a tiny nap (after Daddy took me on a stroll of the ENTIRE terminal- 6 times)...



Then I ate some french fries!



Finally! We were on our way to visit PopPop and Mimi!



We had so much fun in Texas! (It was SO HOT there!) Here are some of the things we did...

On Saturday we went to Fort Worth. It was over 100 degrees out! Very hot, but we found some fun things to do!

Before we knew it, it was time to go home! I'm happy to report that the flight took off on time. Unfortunately I used up most of my "good plane behavior" during the marathon first day of travel. I was so tired, I just wanted to cry... finally I was able to take a nap on Daddy for a bit!



When I woke up, it was time to enjoy the landing! Thanks for a great trip PopPop and Mimi! Can't wait to see you again!
